Using Ticketmaster in ChatGPT and Claude
Ticketmaster is available as a connector inside ChatGPT and Claude. Ask for live
events in plain language and get real, up-to-date results — concerts, sports,
theater, and more — without leaving your conversation. When you’re ready to buy,
the connector links you straight to Ticketmaster to complete your purchase.
How it works
Getting started is simple. Mention Ticketmaster in your request — for example,
“Find Ticketmaster tickets for the Lakers this month” — and the assistant checks
Ticketmaster’s live event catalog and shows you what’s on. From there you can ask
for a specific show, browse ticket prices for an event, filter by section or
budget, and get a link to purchase.
Keep the conversation going naturally:
- “What about next month instead?”
- “Show me the cheapest seats.”
- “Are there any tickets in the 200 level?”
- “What else is happening that weekend?”
Everything runs on Ticketmaster’s real inventory, so availability and prices
reflect what’s actually on sale right now.
Why this matters
- Real, live results — searches Ticketmaster’s event catalog, not a static
list, so what you see is current.
- Conversational refinement — narrow by date, city, venue, section, or price
just by asking.
- Straight to purchase — when you find the right ticket, you’re handed off to
Ticketmaster to check out securely.
- Works in both ChatGPT and Claude — the same Ticketmaster experience in
whichever assistant you use.
How do I add it?
ChatGPT
- Open the Apps directory.
- Find and select Ticketmaster.
- Click Connect and follow the prompts.
- Review and accept the terms to finish.
Claude
- Go to Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Browse connectors.
- Search for Ticketmaster.
- Click Connect.
Once connected, Ticketmaster is ready to use in your conversations.
What can I ask?
You don’t need any special commands — just ask in your own words. Here are
examples of what the connector can help with.
Find events
- “Find Ticketmaster events for [artist] this month.”
- “When is [team] playing at home?”
- “Which cities is [show] coming to?”
- “What comedy shows are happening in [city] this weekend?”
Browse tickets for an event
- “Show me the cheapest seats for this event.”
- “Are there tickets in the 200 level?”
- “Find me two seats together under $150.”
- “What resale tickets are available?”
Get more detail
- “Tell me more about this event.”
How do I bring Ticketmaster into a conversation?
ChatGPT — there are two ways:
- Mention it in your request, e.g. “Find Ticketmaster events for [artist] in
[city].”
- Select Ticketmaster from the app menu directly.
Claude — once Ticketmaster is connected, just ask your question. Claude uses
the connector automatically when your request needs live event information. You
can also select Ticketmaster from the Connectors menu in your prompt.
Buying tickets and accounts
- No Ticketmaster account is required to search. You can browse events and
ticket prices right away.
- Purchases complete on Ticketmaster. When you choose a ticket, the connector
links you to Ticketmaster to sign in and check out as you normally would — the
assistant does not process payment.
Privacy
When you use the Ticketmaster connector, the search terms from your request (such
as the artist, city, or event you’re looking for) are sent to Ticketmaster to
return matching results. Your use of Ticketmaster is governed by the
Ticketmaster Privacy Policy.
